GreenieCo is a custom home integration company based in Columbia, Missouri. We handle audio, video, security, lighting, automation, and networking — and we've been doing it since 2016.
How this whole thing started
It started with a Ring doorbell from a liquidation store. I figured it'd be a quick install, how hard can a doorbell be? Two hours later, I'd discovered I needed a new transformer, a resistor, and completely different wiring.

That's where the business idea came from. Not from a business plan or a market analysis — from actually trying to install a smart doorbell and realizing most people need someone who knows what they're doing.
Before getting into smart home work, Heath spent eight years in law enforcement. That experience changed how he thinks about security, and about taking care of people.

That's why training is such a big deal for us. Every system we install comes with real training, for you and your family. We don't leave until you're comfortable with everything, because a system you can't use isn't worth having.
Heath started doing installs part-time around 2016, mostly for friends, family, and word-of-mouth referrals. The LLC, Green Innovation and Enhancements — was formally established in 2019. By 2024, demand had grown enough that Heath went full-time. The work was always there, it just took a while to trust the jump.
What drives the work
Your home should actually work for you.
You put all this money into your house, the finishes, the upgrades, the details — and it still doesn't do anything differently for you. We think that's backwards. A home should respond to how you live, not the other way around.
One step ahead of what you asked for.
We don't do "just enough." We've done enough of these to know what you're going to want next year. So we plan ahead, run the extra wire, pre-wire the room you're not ready for yet. That way, when you are ready, it's already there.
Honest about what you actually need.
If you don't need a $50,000 system, we'll tell you. We'd rather earn your trust for the next project than squeeze an extra few thousand out of this one. That's just how we think about the relationship.
We train you on everything.
A system you can't use is a system you wasted money on. We've seen it too many times — people pay thousands of dollars and then never use half of what they bought because nobody showed them how. That doesn't happen with us.
